I was raised on a farm in Illinois and have a degree in Animal Science. The last 21 years I have been blessed to be involved with the Llama program since my oldest daughter who is now 29 was in 3rd grade. My younger 2 daughters also joined the llama program when they joined 4-H. Marilyn and Jim Nenni have always been so sharing with these majestic companion animals and they have educated many youth and parents.
When Marilyn and Jim decided to sell their farm they allowed a group of us to form Hamilton Co Llamas. A group of parents were sold on the idea to continue this opportunity for existing and future Llama Trekkers! Fortunately, we accomplished that goal.
Some of you may know me as the “feed delivery man” or the adult who attends some major llama shows and loves to share in the experience of showing the animals and observing the many youth who take part in the HCL and getting to know you parents.
